The odd part about this incarnation of Megatron is that he still looks a lot like a jet when he is in robot mode….and he still looks a lot like a robot when he is in jet mode. Not a whole lot of creativity went into this particular toy, but sometimes the simplest toys are the best. This one transforms quite easily, but my feelings are that it is a little bit too simple. There are no parts that fall off, but the one issue I did have with it is that the feet don’t stay flat in robot mode. The springs tend to snap shut, and that makes him a little bit difficult to pose in robot mode. Altogether, I’d say he is one of the better toys from the Transformers Movie line. Watch out for price gouging, though. This one is available at most retail outlets for around $20.

I purchased the Megatron transformer for my grandson his 6th birthday.
It was a perfect size and great condition he now wants the optmis one.
Very pleased with all the products I have purchased from Amazon.

My son loves this toy. It is exactly as described and the transformation is awesome. My son has had a lot of fun playing with this transformer. And the color is a wonderful blue!

This guy’s airplane mode looks nothing like that of the Leader Class Megatron. His ‘claw’ is pretty awesome. Megatron is still as evil as ever. (Hold him up to the light and his eyes get a wicked glow!)

Well, this was a movie figure I was really looking forward to,and from the package he looks great. His alternate form is much better than his robot mode. It’s a jet looking thing that has a firing missile and pinching claws. When you get to robot mode, the problems begin.First of all,the ice on him makes him look like he fell in a tank of liquid nitrogen, and it really looks stupid next to other figures.Next his arms are really small and it looks like he has someone else’s arms. And finally the worst problem. Two words:HIS HEIGHT.He is so small, that Bumblebee, yes Bumblebee is roughly the same height he is.Amazingly inaccurate,he looks terrible next to Starscream(who,of course is usually shorter than him). The one good thing about him is he makes an imagintive paper weight.
UPDATE:I eventually got so sick of this guy that I customized it and simply put “Megatron is no more…from the ashes rises:GALVATRON.He may stink as Megatron but as my own Galvatron he just works, because he, believe it or not, because of his size.He just looks great!
