This is a nice transformer because my 3-year old can easily switch it between the car and the Bumble Bee.

This was 1 of 3 Transformers that I purchased as a Christmas gift for a 5 year old relative. He enjoyed playing with it. He said it was “awesome!”

In my opinion, this Transformer or any gravity bot are the only Transformers available for a 3-5 year old. The traditional Transformers have tons of pieces and moving parts that are way too difficult for this age range. This toy does not have many moving parts but still WOWS kids and adults alike. It is a very ingenious design. My 4 year old son and his friends really like it a lot. It even rolls very well like any toy car should.

My son is 4 and WAY to old for this toy. The only cool part is that it is a working car. It opens to a transformer but looks exactly like the pic shows. Nothing moves, no chance for action play, and was quite lame! I got him 3 thinking they’d be much bigger and the arms would move. I am so disappointed! I wish I could get my money back!! I can’t even justify any age or development stage to recommend this for, it’s just that lame!!

I purchased this for a 4 year old boy who has a lot of fun with it. It is much smaller than I expected, especially for the price. It doesn’t do much at all, which is fine for the age it was purchased for, but I don’t think he will get much use out of it. It didn’t transform on it’s own at first, it had to be loosened up a bit before the “Gravity Bot” earned it’s name.
